Jailbreak/Unlock

Jailbreak and Unlock iOS 4 – iPad 3.2:

This guide will show you how to jailbreak and unlock (for iPhones) any device on 4.0, 4.0.1, 3.2, 3.2.1.

If you have an iPhone 3GS and rely on carrier unlocking do not update your device at this time.

If you wish to unlock your iPhone 3GS, stay with the 3.1.2 firmware and use the jailbreak/unlock instructions bellow.

1. Make sure you have at least version of iTunes. (iTunes should prompt you to update if you have an old version, users who don’t have iTunes click here to download it. If you are unsure of what version you have, don’t worry as you continue these steps iTunes will make you update)

2. Plugin your device and click on it in the left menu. Then click update, to update to 4.0 or 4.0.1 if it’s an iPhone or iPod Touch, or to 3.2.1 if it’s an iPad. This is if you don’t already have your device updated, if it is you don’t need to do this.

3. Open Safari on you device and go to jailbreakme.com.

4. Slide to Jailbreak! That’s it for iPod Touch and iPad users. If you have an iPhone and you would like to unlock (use a different carrier then Apple allows you to ex. T-Mobile  in the US), then continue.

5. Open the Cydia app on your home screen.

6. After Cydia loads search for UltraSn0w. The 0 is a zero.

7. Click on that package and install it. After, restart your device and put whatever sim card you want into the phone.

iPhone 4 users need to wait a day or two, until Ultrasn0w is updated. We will remove this when Ultrasn0w can unlock the iPhone 4.
