Apple has just released iOS 4.1 and iPhone SDK 4.1 beta to registered developers. There is no word to what changes the updated iOS 4.1 brings, other than we are assuming the iPhone 4 signal fix is included in this update. We do know that app developers will need to ensure compatibility with this update, so it must bring some major changes.

Apple has rolled out a new beta version of the 4.0 firmware along with an update to the iPhone SDK. The change that is getting the most talk is that Apple added 18 new wallpapers in this beta. They are much like the ones already available, but they add some variety. Another change, is that Clock, Calculator, and Voice Memo’s is automatically in a ‘Utilities’ folder when you start the iPhone for the first time.
