
iPhone repair site iResQ has posted photos of what it claims are parts for the fourth-generation iPhone presumably due for launch later this year in June or July. Among the most notable features of the claimed parts are a front panel that appears to be approximately 1/4″ taller than the current iPhone 3GS.

Apple has announced that their January media event will be taking place on January 27th and that they will be showing off some kind of new product. In fact the name of the event is, “Come see our latest creation.” The new creation is of course assumed to be an Apple tablet computer. News on the iPod Touch and iPhone is also expected during this event. The event will start at 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time and the event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Apple is apparently preparing to launch the fourth-generation iPhone sooner in the year than previous iPhones. This news comes from the most popular Korean iPhone carrier who is expecting this iPhone from Apple. This would be an odd move fro Apple, but maybe this iPhone will be announced at the January media event rather than the WWDC 2010.
