Google Goggles Coming Soon to iPhone

Google Goggles is an app currently available for the Android OS that let’s users search Google using photos take on their phones. Google has announced that they will bring Goggles to the iPone soon.

Steve Jobs on WWDC Announcements: ‘You Won’t Be Disappointed’

After the big news from Google last week, an iPhone user Bryan Webster emailed Steve Jobs: “I hope you have some good WWDC announcements to blow [Google] out of the water”.

To this, Steve Jobs reportedly replied “You won’t be disappointed”.

Apple Removes Google Branding from iPhone 4 Safari Keyboard

Many people were disappointed to find out that there aren’t any majors changes to mobile safari in firmware 4.0. Many even stated that there were no changes what so ever, but a few people have come across a minor rather interesting change to Mobile Safari in the firmware 4.0 beta.

Firmware 4.0: Spotlight searches Google and Wikipedia

Currently spotlight in iPhone OS 3.0 is just okay. It does have some good features like searching through mail messages, overall it’s not all that useful. Apple has listened to us and is improving spotlight search with a few features in firmware 4.0.

Firmware 4.0 to Bring Improved Mail

Today, at Apple’s 4.0 media event, they announced that firmware 4.0 will bring a better mail app to iPhone OS. This update to the mail app will include a unified mailbox similar to that of Mail on Mac. A unified mailbox is where all messages from all your different accounts, show up all in one place. Also introduced was threaded conversation, multiple Exchange accounts (hello Exchange + Google Sync), and fast inbox switching.

Google Rolls Out iPad-Formatted Gmail

Google today announced that it has rolled out a new iPad-formatted mobile interface for Gmail, building on the HTML5-based mobile format used for the iPhone to create a two-column interface like that used for Apple’s Mail application on the iPad.
