No More Creating Your Own RIngtones in iTunes 10

Apple has cut-off their create your own ringtone feature in iTunes 10 that they launched alongside the first iPhone back in 2007. This feature allowed users to trim a song they already bought for $.99 (or $1.29) and trim that song, then purchase the ringtone for another $.99.

Xcode 4 Preview 3 Now Available to Developers

Apple has just released the third preview version of Xcode 4, a code writing software used for developing parts of apps (and other things, like websites and Dashboard widgets). New features include a new activity interface for developers as well as a completely fresh user-interface for the new code completion technologies in Xcode 4. Some bug fixes were also tossed into this update.

The New iPod Ads

Apple showed us two new Apple commercials at yesterday’s special music event, one for the new iPod nano and one for the new iPod touch (nothing for the new iPod shuffle yet). These ads are now airing across the world.

Apple traditionally announces their new lineup of iPods and this year is expect to be no different.
