Google Goggles is an app currently available for the Android OS that let’s users search Google using photos take on their phones. Google has announced that they will bring Goggles to the iPone soon.
Some people are now speculating that the Apple law suite against HTC is to warn other Apple competitors that they will not put up with other companies taking their patented ideas.
A Google spokesperson issued a statement yesterday indicating that the company will “stand behind” handset manufacturer HTC in its patent dispute with Apple.
Apple has announced that they have filed a law suit against HTC hardware manufacture for infringing on their patents. The suit, filed in US District Court in Delaware, alleges violation of “20 Apple patents related to the iPhone’s user interface, underlying architecture and hardware,” says Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
