If you got iPhone OS 3.1.3 with baseband 05.11.07 we have good news. MSFTGuy and Push Fix dev have created and released a modified version of BlackSn0w, that’s able to unlock iPhones with OS 3.1.3 and Baseband 05.11.07.
Firmware 3.1.3 has brought nothing but problems so far, first with jailbreaking and unlocking and now with battery and playlists. With hardly any new features in the firmware, it was basically a lame attempt to stop jailbreaking.
With firmware 3.1.3 came some seriously bad news for jailbreakers. Basically the whole idea behind the firmware was for Apple to take another step towards ending jailbreaking. The iPhone Dev-Team was quick to jump on this firmware as usual and has come out with a jailbreaking solution for some devices. This jailbreaking solution is the Pwnage Tool for 3.1.3. This tool is only for Mac, but a windows solution would be Sn0w Breeze.
iH8sn0w just released a new version of Sn0wBreeze, this version is made to jailbreak firmware 3.1.3. Sn0wbreeze is a windows desktop application, that looks like the PwnageTool for the Mac.
We heard about Apple releasing the firmware version 3.1.3 for iPhone and iPod Touch just a few days ago. The firmware did fix some bugs, however the idea behind the firmware update was to try to prevent jailbreaking. What Apple has done is removed the digital signature on the 3.1.2 firmware.
Today at 10:30am PST Apple released firmware 3.1.3 (7E18) for all of their devices but the first generation iPhone.
